Hello,

just wanted to report back. I got a new job and got sent abroad from one week to another.

I am finally at home again. However my new job (about I am very happy) is a 60h/week job (I am writing that in my break, because I dont have internet access at home again), so beside some hours with my husband and children there is not so much free time left. I am sorry I couldnt report in sooner, but I had some really busy times. I hope I can work a bit on Vassal on the weekends, but as I said I have a lot less free time now, but I can see that the other team members were very busy and only inhibited to do more because my sudden disapperance.

6th Edition – Version 6

I still have to finish a project for my work. So for the next 2 weeks I cant spare any time.

But then I will resume work on the module to make Version 6, fit for 6th Edition.

No here I need your help: What needs to be changed? What needs to be added?

Not dead.

Just to let you know: We are not dead. However I have no time for the module until Mid-March just because work is loading me with more work than I can handle and have only few hours a day for my family.

We still need more Necrons Sprites, especially the vehicles and characters. Many, many thanks to Carnage and Jason for their sprites so far.

For your patience some other new sprites for the next version:

Vassal 40K Battle Finder.

Hi guys,

I’ve been working on a battle finder and is now in the BETA testing stage, I’ve got some work to do on making it look good but should be ok for the start of November. This will only run for 1 month trial to see how many people use it and how much it costs to run as i have limited funds and cant afford to keep it running if it gets too much. Every free web hosting site I’ve tried doesn’t like the E-mail process and the emails are never received due to spam blocking on the mail servers e.g GMAIL HOTMAIL ect.

If anyone knows of a hosting site that uses PHP MySQL and can send email without it being blocked that would be great. in the mean time lets see in November how things go. any comments will be very welcome.

Finally a new offical version of Vassal40k is out.

Whats is new:

• Main Module – A lot of terrain added, Rivers, Tau and Eldar Terrain and many more
• Grey Knights – Seperated from Inquisition, overhaul for their new Codex
• Dark Eldar – Overhaul for their new Codex, a lot of new sprites.
• Imperial Guard – Thunderer, Destroyer and Tarantula Sentries added
• Space Marines – All Dreads now can be Mortis pattern, Tarantula Sentries added
• Tau – Tetra added
• Apocalypse – 5 Flyers, 12 Titans and 26 Warmachines added, for Imperium, Chaos, Necrons, Orks, Tau, Eldar and Tyranids.

Also we are in the middle of changing the Weapon/Arm Shortcut for everything form Ctrl-[ and Ctrl-] to Ctrl-R and Ctrl-L for the german keyboard users.
